I COULD CHOOSE BETWEEN BEING PISSED OFF FOR ALL WHAT THE DISEASE TAKES AWAY FROM ME, OR HAPPY FOR ALL WHAT CAN I LEARN TO APPRECIATE.
I DO NOT WANT TO SPEND MY TIME TO MAKE THE WORLD PAY FOR IT, I CAN AND I WANT TO DO BETTER
The B.Livers are guys who have fought or are fighting serious diseases.
At first the enemy had cancer, then they greeted friends with HIV, rare diseases and any pathologies making the hospital wards too familiar a place.
But B.Livers are also all those who help them find drive and motivation, as Bill Niada, who gave birth to the B.LIVE project which children belong to.
Together they launched many initiatives that teach them the art of life and the value of doing: collaborations with leading fashion and beauty brands, company visits, meetings with personalities of sport, culture, medicine.

Together, they created a newspaper, Il Bullone (The Bolt), where kids tackle important issues such as environment, food, health, economy, etc. in order to raise, in young people as in adults, the sense of responsibility and the pleasure of working together.They want to understand the real needs of the society so as to build, as protagonists, a better world.
The world of B.LIVE grew up in the care and interests towards the kids living with it and towards the adventures that it generates.
All this resulted in a book, much wanted by Sperling & Kupfer, which tells the story of the project and of how the newspaper Il Bullone (The Bolt) was born: many stories, all beautiful and moving, showing the many facets of life often including those in which, despite the suffering, smiles and joys are born.
These wonderful guys teach everyone the powerful value of life
So Eleonora tells us: “I am myself, the disease is the disease. We are two different things” tired as she is of the pitiful and embarrassed looks that arouses his head without hair. The same goes for Tony, who had one leg amputated for an osteosarcoma; or Cecilia, who has struggled for years against leukemia; or Giovanni, divided between medical and university exams; or Miriam, who with HIV will have to live forever.
The B.Livers guys, who have known the hospitals from an early age, learned that the desire to live is stronger than pain and fear.

They have learned to accept, receive and share the help of others with gratitude, humility and pride.
Thanks to their experiences, today they are able to transmit and teach, with the enthusiasm that they have learned to put in everything they do, that the word “impossible” should no longer exist Their lives demonstrates it and sweep away all doubt.
Thanks to B.LIVE project they can collaborate in companies and look for the job of their dreams. They can talk to adults as equals and often they can teach even to them the strength and the will to live fully.
This magnificent, stubborn and relentless group also faced the challenge of founding a newspaper, to tell the stories of those who, like them, in bad times has found an extraordinary force, and, facing death, understood the value of every single instant.
“We have changed the way we look at reality, and now with our newspaper, Il Bullone, we want to change the way the world looks at the reality.”
The book, tells the B.Livers latest journalistic adventure, but also the thoughts, anxieties, love and emotions of teenagers, fragile like everyone else, but perhaps a bit wiser than others.
Each of us can become B.Livers: ceasing to blame others and building responsibly his own happiness, looking with curiosity and enthusiasm for what does good to us, to others and to our wonderful planet.
